Though this aquarium is not as huge as many other in the world, it is definitely the most unusual and unique due to its interesting design: it has a cylindrical shape and is located inside the Radisson Hotel in Berlin.

The height of this construction is 25 meters and the diameter is 11 meters. It is not just an impressive decoration, but also a habitat for approximately 2,600 marine species. This fish tank with two million gallons of water is located in Ocean Expo Commemorative National Government Park and was open to the public in 2002. This huge aquarium is located in one of the biggest shopping malls in the world – Dubai Mall. It is actually one of the most spectacular aquariums on the planet and one of the most popular attractions in Dubai. It is famous for its acrylic panel with impressive dimensions: the width is 32,88 meters, while the height is more than 8 meters. This huge impressive fish tank complex is the home for more than 100,000 of underwater inhabitants. The unique design resembles the shape of a large cruise ship divided into 60 separate smaller areas.

The biggest one among them is the habitat of two whale sharks that are considered to be the largest fish in the world. Seals, whales, jellyfish, catfish, and sharks are the main inhabitants of the aquarium in California that is believed to be one of the most beautiful and amazing on the entire American continent. It was open in 1984, and since that time has been operating not just a tourism attraction, but first of all as a marine sanctuary for endangered species.

The thematic marine park Ushaka is not just an aquarium. It is the whole large complex with 32 water tanks inhabited by a marine representative of various climatic and geographical zones, including dolphins, seahorses, sharks, and etc.

The design of the park is also very unique: it is built in the shape of a crashed ship, which gives the park a certain charm. It is a perfect place for family time that includes not only water reservoirs but also souvenir shops, cafes, and restaurants, the most popular of which is Cargo Hold restaurants, where it is possible to enjoy a lunch surrounded by real sharks.

Turkuazoo Aquarium, Turkey

This place opened in 2009 is located in Forum Istambul Shopping Mall, and is the largest aquarium in the country and the second biggest in the world.

It represents flora and fauna of different regions and continents, including a touristic zone, jungles zones, and even mangrove forests. In total, there are 10,000 different kinds of fishes and marine creatures that visitors can see by walking through the tunnel 80 meters in length.

This famous Spanish aquarium is located right in the center of the futuristic city of Art and Sciences. It is the largest open-air oceanographic park in Europe that occupies the area of almost 110 thousand km2. It’s main building in the shape of water lily was designed by the famous Spanish architect Felix Candela.
